tough game. QB Lance Rice stinks. He is a stiff. I would be interested except for that.

Everybody and their mother is betting Cal tonight! I liked Cal myself but this is a game to be careful with! YOU CAN RUN ON CAL. KANSAS STATE PROVED THAT! Utah has a great ground game. Run opens up the passing game! Yes their QB is out but they will be fine! Ground control!Home feild advantage! Hope we recieve first and score early! Tough to play catch up with a ground game! Everything points to Cal but I love Utah now! Love betting with the books not against them!!

I really like Utah here. Yeah Rice stinks but he's got 20 starts under his belt and this team brings the D and brings the run game. Makes for good success at home on national tv.

I agree fellas, i see Smith still doing well with weapons like brandon warfield on the ground, and paris warren (who wasn't even there for the A+M game..which could have been the difference) Hopefully with the week off he got good use out of those condoms he stole!!
You guys are saying that Lance Rice will be starting, but I think its actually the sophmore Alex Smith who will be starting. Correct me if I'm wrong

collegefootballnews.com says Rice. Perhaps they'll both play. Smith can't be worse then Rice so its all good either way!

Looks like Smith, I was wrong with what CFN said. Both could see time. Good to see parris warren back.

Cal
Utah pk, GM 53, 1st H 27, 2nd H 27

Looks like most people outside of the RX are on Cal too. Maybe time to start focusing on the total. Utah's likes the run and have the new sophomore QB which translates to the run game too. With Cal being weak against the run, this may be a nice under play, especially in the first half. Second half maybe dangerous if Cal's force to light in up (or attempt to light it up) with the passing game.

In their first 2 games Utah scored a total of 14 points in the first half (14, 0).
In their first 3 games Cal scored a average of 14 points in the first haft (7, 20, 14)

Not too convincing but maybe worth a small play on the 1st half under.
